1. Sight Loss Equipment & Information Day in Milford on Sea Tuesday 13 September

Open Sight have organised a Sight Loss Equipment and Information Day for the visually-impaired at Milford on Sea Community Centre on Tuesday 13 September 10.00 am until 3.00 pm . There will be a number of exhibitors including the Talking Newspaper.

2. Interview with David Hawkins, Mayor of New Milton

On 20 August Bob Lowe interviewed David Hawkins, Mayor of New Milton, in which the Mayor discussed the ambitious plans for the area near the Memorial Centre.

 By agreement with the local newspapers, visually-impaired listeners may apply for log-in details to hear the current edition of the Talking Newspaper online, which is recorded on a Friday morning and goes online the same day
