Accommodation

Three organisations have provided us with premises. We started operations in the New Milton Memorial Centre:

New Milton Memorial Centre

We moved to Durlston Court School in Barton on Sea where we stayed for 10 years until July 2014.

Not only did the School provide us with a base and handle our incoming post, but they did so without charge which gave us a financial lifeline.

Durlston Court School

Thanks to the cooperation of the New Milton Town Council, we moved to the vacant tennis pavilion in New Milton in July 2014.

Postal Service

We are grateful for the ongoing support we receive from the Memorial Centre in New Milton in handling our incoming post and Royal Mail for handling our wallets by first class post free of charge.

Our Volunteers

Last but not least without the efforts of our loyal band of volunteers, we wouldn’t have a Talking Newspaper to publicise!

We are grateful for what our volunteers do for us and hang on to them as long as possible!

We owe so much to Joan Mulkern (Founder & Chairman 1999-2012) who retired in 2012. Joan was the figurehead – the name and face – of the Talking Newspaper. .
